This is a recording made of the Hanuman Chalisa using a melody that I learnt from my uncle, Navinbhai Damji, and was sung by my grandfather when he used to lead this. I have named it Arise as this version creates quite an intense energy and I find it really uplifting. We also sometimes lovingly call this version Bapuji’s Chalisa as this was what everyone called my grandfather, Damji Devji Pattni.
